Cookies and local storage

Reading and language

The portal is available without a reader account. The /fr or /en address determines language without a language cookie. This version integrates neither behavioural advertising nor external audience analytics.

Introduction and theme

The 3D introduction replays on every full page load or refresh. The hm-intro session item remembers only a secondary home animation in that tab; it ends with the session and does not identify a reader.

The light theme has been withdrawn for now. Any previous hemle-theme preference is ignored and may be erased in site storage settings. No new theme choice is offered.

Administration

Internal accounts use an authentication cookie; administration may store interface preferences. These uses create neither reader accounts nor newsletter subscriptions.

Form protection

Current protection uses validation, a honeypot, origin checks and persistent server-side abuse limits. It does not load Cloudflare Turnstile. An additional service will require updated information and consideration of necessary choices.

Documents and external services

The PDF reader receives temporary signed links for document pages. Do not share their parameters. Social networks are not loaded as embedded feeds.

External video loads after your action. YouTube uses youtube-nocookie.com; this mode does not prevent transmission to the service after activation. You may choose not to play video.

Your settings

You may erase or block cookies and storage through browser settings. This may sign you out of administration or reset technical preferences. No consent banner for nonexistent advertising is added.

Before introducing optional analytics, advertising or tracking, the publisher must update this information and collect required choices before activation.

Contact

To report unexpected storage or request details, use the contact form with the subject “Privacy — for the attention of Kévin MBABE”. The privacy policy describes processing and your rights.
